Wayde R. Berry, age 94, passed away on Friday, December 17, 2021, at the Scott County Hospital in Scott City, Kansas.  He was born on December 29, 1926, in Franklin, Texas, the son of Wilson W. And Bessie L. Isbell Berry.  A resident of Scott City, Kansas since 2013 moving from Tecumseh, Oklahoma, he was a bulk agent for Standard Oil and a truck driver.  Wayde was a US Army Veteran of World War II and the Korean Conflict.

He was a member of the Assembly Of God Church in Scott City, Kansas, and was a lifetime member of the VFW.

Survivors include his Three Sons - Charles & Sherrie Berry of Scott City, Kansas, Benny Berry & Cheree Swaney of Dodge City, Kansas, Darrel & Shelly Berry of Scott City, Kansas, One Daughter - Pam & Terry McDaniel of Scott City, Kansas, One Brother - Gerrel & Deb Berry of Dacoma, Oklahoma, Fourteen Grandchildren, and Twenty Two Great Grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his Parents, Eight Brothers - Arthur Berry, Wilson E. Berry, Thomas Berry, Louis Berry, Samuel Berry, Wayne G. Berry, Dranon Roy Berry, Sherman Berry, Four Sisters - Estelle Thomas, Ollie Parks, Virginia King, and Emalee Twyford.

Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, December 20, 2021, at the First Baptist Church in Scott City, Kansas with Pastor Don Williams presiding. Funeral services will be Livestreamed at www.priceandsons.com.

Interment will be in the Scott County Cemetery in Scott City, Kansas.

Visitation will be from 2:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Sunday at Price & Sons Funeral Home, 401 S. Washington Street, Scott City, Kansas.
