Artie was a very special lady. She was a mentor for me especially when I was a young mom with my first baby. I treasured her wise advice. Her encouraging words to me as a pastor's wife were like a cool, refreshing breeze on a hot day. She seemed to sense just what I needed at the right time. I admired her gentle spirit yet firm faith in Jesus her Lord. I can picture her now in heaven with Him singing and praising Him with her beautiful voice. I will cherish the memories I have of her life and our friendship.
