Obituary of Brian Jay Everett

Brian Jay Everett, age 61, passed away on Saturday, January 11, 2020 at Wesley Medical Center in Wichita, Kansas. He was born on March 12, 1958 in Scott City, Kansas, the son of John & Leila Beth Everett. Jay was a lifetime resident of Scott City, Kansas and was a truck driver for J. Unruh Trucking. He was a member of the United Methodist Church in Scott City, Kansas. On December 24, 1999 he married Delores Wilken in Scott City, Kansas. She survives. Survivors include his Wife - Dee Everett of Scott City, Kansas, One Son - Christopher & Amanda Everett of Scott City, Kansas, Two Daughters - Whitney & Nick Savolt of Scott City, Kansas, Kaycee & Michael Miller of Wichita, Kansas, One Brother - Bill & Sara Everett of Tulsa, Oklahoma, Two Sisters - Beth & Greg Lee of Dallas, Texas, Lydia “Lollie” & Randy Packard of Holyrood, Kansas and Thirteen Grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his Parents, One Brother - Melvin “M.L.” Everett and One Sister - Lynn Everett. Memorial services will be held on Friday, January 17, 2020 at 2:00 p.m at the United Methodist Church in Scott City, Kansas with Rev. Larry Danforth presiding. Inurnment will be in the Scott County Cemetery in Scott City, Kansas. Memorials can be made to the Jay Everett Memorial Fund in care of Price and Sons Funeral Home. There will be no calling times.
