Dear Bessie and Jones family,
I am so sorry for the loss of your husband and father. Although I hardly knew Leon, I do remember the few times I was around him, that I sensed that he had a certain presence that felt strong and powerful! I absolutely remember sweet Bessie, Shirley and Wilbur most of all. All of you were part of my growing up years in Tribune and I can still feel Bessie's hugs. I'm glad I have those memories and I hope the memory of your father will sustain you in the years to come.
