Obituary of Hilton Tokoi

Leoti, Kansas Hilton Keith Tokoi, age 75, passed away on Thursday, October 3, 2013 in Leoti, Kansas. Hilton, the son of Iver & Inez Luckcuck Tokoi, was born November 18, 1937 in rural Ness County, Kansas. After moving from Utica, KS to Leoti in 1976, he was a farmer, owner, and operator of TFT Hay Services. Hilton was a member of the Lakin Church of Christ in Lakin, Kansas On August 19, 1956 he married Shirley Popp in Utica, Kansas. Hilton's surviving family includes- Wife- Shirley Tokoi- Leoti, Kansas Three children - Laura (Dennis) Fischer- Leoti, Kansas Brent Tokoi- Leoti, Kansas Jennifer (Shane) Armstrong- Garden City, Kansas Seven grandchildren- Lacey Fischer- Garden City, Kansas Jordan Fischer- Leoti, Kansas Abbey Fischer- Leoti, Kansas Kylee Tokoi- Denver, Colorado Cooper Tokoi- Denver, Colorado Shelby Armstrong- Garden City, Kansas Emma Armstrong- Garden City, Kansas Two siblings Myrna Walters- Alexander City, Arizona Milton Tokoi- Sharon Springs, Kansas His parents, and two sisters, Cecelia Parks and Ione Oldham precede him in death. Memorial services will be held at 10:00 am Monday, October 7, 2013 at the Lakin Church of Christ in Lakin, Kansas with Dr. Kenne Whitson officiating. Private family inurnment will take place at a later date. Friends may call from 1:00 pm until 5:00 pm Sunday at Price & Sons Funeral Home in Leoti, Kansas. Memorials may be given to the Lakin Church of Christ, Leoti EMT's or The National Downs Syndrome Society in care of the funeral home.
