G. Konrad H. Martin, age 62, passed away on Saturday, April 6, 2013 at St. Catherine Hospital in Garden City, Kansas. Konrad was born September 6, 1950 at Kansas City, Missouri, the son of George Haskell & Hope Violet Hocker Martin. A Deerfield, Kansas resident since November of 2012 moving from Leoti, Kansas, he was a truck driver. Konrad served his country as a Staff Sergeant in the United States Army in West Berlin, Germany. Konrad was a member of the Christ Covenant Evangelical Presbyterian Church in Leoti, Kansas as well as the American Motorcycle Association, the Moto Guzzi National Owners Association, the American Legion and Veterans of Foreign Wars. On June 17, 1970 he married Dianna Jo Yotter at Leoti, Kansas. Konrad's surviving family includes- His wife Dianna Jo Martin- Deerfield, Kansas One daughter Mindy M. & Darold Harrison- Deerfield, Kansas One son- Matthew Dean & Chanelle Martin- Leoti, Kansas Six grandchildren Casey Dean Harrison Deerfield, Kansas Jason M. Harrison- " Hannah Martin- Leoti, Kansas Sarah Jane Martin- " Micah Dean Martin- " Avah Jean Martin- " Mother in Law Betty J. Yotter- Leoti, Kansas His parents and his father in law, Dean Yotter, preceded him in death. Memorial Services will be held at 11:00 am Saturday, April 13, 2013 at Christ Covenant Evangelical Presbyterian Church in Leoti, Kansas with the Reverend Bob Everest officiating. Inurnment will be in Leoti Cemetery in Leoti, Kansas with military honors provided by the United States Army Funeral Honors Detail from Fort Riley, Kansas. There will be no calling times. Memorials may be given to the Konrad Martin Memorial Fund in care of Price & Sons Funeral Home
