Obituary of Janis Partin

Janis Kay Partin, age 67, died Sunday, October 7, 2012 at her home in Garden City, Kansas. She was born March 20, 1945 in Garden City, Kansas the daughter of Roy and Dorothy Sellers King. A lifetime resident of Garden City Janis had worked at Western Motor as an Administrative Assistant and later earned her nursing certificate and worked as a Licensed Practical Nurse. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church and the PEO. On November 2, 1961, she married Harold Partin in Garden City, Kansas. He survives. Other Survivors Include: Two Sons, Kevin (& Rebecca) Partin of Garden City, Kansas and Steve (& Kimberly) Partin of Garden City, Kansas; Six Grandchildren, Rheanna Kitch, Bryan Ingalls, Brynna Ingalls, Breanna Betts, Jasper Partin & Jacob Partin and One Great-Grandson, Austin Kitch. She was preceded in death by her parents. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00pm on Friday. Oct. 12, 2012 at the First United Methodist Church in Garden City, Kansas. Interment will be held in the Valley View Cemetery in Garden City, Kansas. Friends may call from 10:00am-8:00pm Thursday at the Price & Sons Funeral Home in Garden City, Kansas. Memorials may be given to the Janis Partin Memorial Fund in care of Price & Sons Funeral Home.
