To Joyce's family. Firstly, my condolenses to your family. Your mother will always be a part of your lives; you have much to treasure. Which memory to pick? Strange, but I learned a secret of femininity from your mother in Sunday School class! I have no idea how it came up, but one Sunday morning while she was teaching our highschool class, I remember her saying, a woman should always have something about her that was feminine! And she obviously lived it with the high heels and painted toes - which I thought were absolutely wonderful. I still love high heels although I don't wear them nearly as often, but I still do polish my toe nails. Her talent as a photographer, lover of dogs and horses, and a very optomistic person makes her a wonderful person to have had in our lives. You are very blessed that she was your mother. Sincerly, Kathy

Nicki & Cheri: We will miss your Mom's sweet smile and her love for her family. Tanya reminded me of ways in which your Dad & your Mom had blessed her life and made her feel valued and I'm so very thankful for that. As a child Tanya remembers going to the Blickenstaff home with Millicent and feeling welcomed & honored. Your Mom & Dad also helped to inspire Tanya's love for photography.

What great memories we all have of Joyce! She could see things through her "lens of life" like no other. She was a great woman, and we know you will greatly miss her.

Cheri, Nicki and families, I have such wonderful memories of Jo and Blick from so far back it is hard to pinpoint the time. The thing I will cherish the most is the fellowship I had with Jo sitting in her kitchen talking about the Lord. We loved horses and we loved Him. She has been missed, but I am rejoicing that she is with Blick once again. You are all in our prayers. Blessings and love...

Dearest Nicki, Cheri and families: Scott City owes much of its photographic history to your parents (and ZM too, I think). What a legacy they left for you girls! I will always picture your mom in heels, camera in hand, sharing her enthusiasm for family, horses, dogs and, above all, God. May you find comfort in knowing she is never far from you now. Sending love and hugs, Nancy

I am so sorry to hear about your beautiful Mom and Grandma. Joyce will forever be remembered by everyone in Scott City as the beautiful photographer wearing those high heels. Your parents had an awesome photography business that we all took for granted. She was also my Mary Kay sales lady for many years. I loved her positive attitude about things and enjoyed visiting with her. My thoughts and prayers go out to you all during this difficult time and in the months ahead.

Cheri and Nicki, Our thoughts and prayers are with you during this time of grief. Your Mother left many wonderful memories to so many people of this community it is impossible to name them all. I have very fond memories from the time I was little with horse shows and saddle clubs activities, your parents doing school photos, and then later in life she was my MaryKay dealer. I enjoyed visiting with her when I was there to pick up product. There was always something to talk about with her. May you cherish your memories and keep them close to your heart as your Mom will be watching over you from Heaven. May the Lord grant you comfort and peace. LuAnn (Rudolph) Buehler
