Naomi F. Yager, age 85, passed away on Thursday, May 13, 2010 at the Park Lane Nursing Home in Scott City, Kansas. She was born on January 7, 1925 in Scott County, Kansas, the daughter of Charles Emmet and Delia Deng Harkness. A lifetime resident of Scott City, Kansas, she was a homemaker. Her memberships include the First Christian Church, 4-H, Church World Service Area Representative, Colorado Christian Home, Lakeview EHU, and Christian Women's Fellowship. She was also very involved in the church as head of the church bazaar and was the funeral meal coordinator. On June 19, 1943 she married Leslie L. Yager in Scott City, Kansas. He passed away on February 22, 2007 in Garden City, Kansas. Survivors include her two Sons - Thomas L. Yager Sr. & wife, Linda of Dighton, Kansas, Dr. James L. Yager & wife, Shauna of Fresno, CA, Five Grandsons - Thomas L. Yager, Jr. & wife, Shelica of Grantsville, Utah, Dr. James A. Yager & wife, Jodi of Scott City, Kansas, Roger L. Yager & wife, Hayley of Grantsville, UT, Aaron J. Yager of Long Beach, CA, Brandon L. Yager (a twin) of Fresno, CA, Three Granddaughters - Suzanne L. Brown & husband, Travis of Las Cruses, NM, Stephanie L. Thomas & husband, Keith of Scott City, Kansas, Serena L. Yager (a twin) o f Fresno, CA, Ten Great Grandchildren - (Suzanne's) Sharlae & Justus Brown, (Thomas's) Austin, Carson & Branson Yager, (James') Colten, Chantz, Kiana & Hunter Yager, (Roger's) Nelson & Ella Yager, and (Stephanie's) Bretton Thomas. She was preceded in death by her Parents, Husband, and 13 Siblings and 2 Half Siblings. Funeral Services will be held at the First Christian Church in Scott City, Kansas at 10:30 a.m. Friday, May 21, 2010 with the Rev. Jeff Knighton presiding. Memorials may be given to the Park Lane Nursing Home or First Christian Church % Price & Sons Funeral Home. Visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. Thursday at Price & Sons Funeral Home in Scott City. Interment will be in the Scott County Cemetery in Scott City, Kansas.
