Henrietta Yvonne Tompkin, age 86, died Thursday, November 22, 2007 at the St. Anthony Central Hospital in Denver, Colorado. She was born March 16, 1921 in Garden City, Kansas the daughter of Floyd and Vera Knoll Ackley. She owned and operated Henrietta's Beauty Salon for several years and was a lifetime resident of Garden City recently moving to Denver to be near her daughter.
She was a member of the Christian Faith.
Survivors Include: One Daughter, Lisa Hart of Evergreen, Colorado; Son-In-Law, Brad Hart of Evergreen, Colorado; One Sister, Roberta Renick of Garden City, Kansas; Brother-In-Law, Merrill Renick of Garden City, Kansas; Three Grandsons, Kyle Hart of Evergreen, Colorado, Collin Hart of Evergreen, Colorado and Max Mitchell of Denver, Colorado; One Granddaughter, Brianne Hart of Evergreen, Colorado;
She was preceded in death by Two Daughters, Vera tompkin and Janice Lee Mitchell and One Son, Robert Tompkin.
Graveside Services will be held at 11:00am on Thursday, November 29, 2007 at the Valley View Cemetery in Garden City, Kansas with Pastor Jeff Crist presiding.
Per Henrietta's request, there will be no local calling times.
Memorials may be given to the Henrietta Tompkin Memorial Fund in care of Price & Sons Funeral Home of Garden City.
