Edith D. Teeters, age 80, passed away at the Park Lane Nursing Home in Scott City, Kansas on Wednesday, June 21, 2006. She was born on October 31, 1925 in Mosca, Colorado, the daughter of Harry Edward and Pansy Garrett Brown. A resident of Scott City, Kansas since 1947 moving from Monte Vista, Colorado. She worked at Phil's IGA for 10 years as a cashier, a book keeper at various places in Scott City, Kansas, and a secretary for Eaton Trucking Company. Memberships included: Rebekah's Lodge Scott City, Kansas American Legion Scott City, Kansas On November 27, 1944 she married Frank A. Teeters in Taos, New Mexico. He passed away on October 10, 2001 in Garden City, Kansas. Survivors: Two Daughters Patricia Ann Steffens Pittsburg, Kansas Kala Ilene Hillery Garden City, Kansas Two Brothers Harry "Bub" Brown Canon City, Colorado Art Brown Mosca, Colorado Three Sisters Lola Kessler Monte Vista, Colorado Dorothy Lewis Rock Port, Colorado Barbara Dodds Arcata, California Six Grandchildren Two Great Grandchildren She was preceded in death by her Parents, Husband, Two Brothers â Floyd Brown and Jim Brown, and Two Great Grandchildren â John Steffens Jr. and Chase Steffens.
