Doris Mae Strickert, age 94, passed away on Thursday, September 27, 2007 at the Lake Point Nursing Home in Wichita, Kansas. She was born on August 1, 1913 in Gridley, Kansas, the daughter of Alfred Elroy and Nellie Maude Schlink Darland. A lifetime resident of Scott City, Kansas until she moved to Wichita, Kansas in 2000. She was a School Teacher and a cook.

On December 21, 1938 she married Clarence J. Strickert. He passed away on September 22, 1977 in Scott City, Kansas.
Survivors: Two Daughters Debbie Patton Wichita, Kansas Joanne & Jerry Kerschner Oklahoma City, OK Two Granddaughters Jennifer Duck Guthrie, OK Janelle & Brian Dugan Wichita, Kansas Two Grandsons J.D. & Melissa Patton Wichita, Kansas Jon & Ashley Patton Wichita, Kansas
Five Great Grandchildren
She was preceded in death by her Parents, Husband, and One Daughter - Marilyn K. Strickert.
