Lola L. Shafer, age 90, passed away at the Wichita County Long Term Care Center in Leoti, Kansas on Monday, December 25, 2006. She was born on August 3, 1916 in Wichita County, Kansas, the daughter of Eugene Charles and Goldie Pitchford Sowers. A lifetime resident of Leoti, Kansas she was a homemaker.
Memberships include: St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church Leoti, Kansas Daughters of Isabella Garden City, Kansas Several Card Clubs Leoti, Kansas
On March 3, 1934 she married Hilbert Shafer in Goodland, Kansas. He passed away on May 10, 1997 in Leoti, Kansas.
