Richard James "Doc" Rogers, age 85, passed away on Tuesday, May 22, 2007 at the Park Lane Nursing Home in Scott City, Kansas. He was born on December 21, 1921 in Winfield, Kansas, the son of Samuel & Viola Miller Rogers. He was a resident of Scott City, Kansas since 1949 having moved from Arkansas City, Kansas. He was a US Army WWII Veteran and a Chiropractor

On June 15, 1941 he married Connie Harrington in Winfield, Kansas. She passed away on July 11, 2002 in Scott City, Kansas.
Survivors: Two Sons Dr. Steven & Margie Rogers Topeka, Kansas Brent & Sue Rogers Scott City, Kansas Two Daughters Laylene & Gary Janssen Scott City, Kansas Kathleen & Steve Settles San Antonio, Texas Fifteen Grandchildren Twenty Nine Great Grandchildren
He was preceded in death by his Parents, Wife, and Two Sisters - Osa Schulte & Rosadell Ballard.
