Virginia Rios, age 61, passed away on Monday, April 7, 2008 at the Scott County Hospital in Scott City, Kansas. She was born on September 7, 1946 in Greeley, Colorado, the daughter of Emilio and Jesusita Mendez Camacho Sr. A resident of Scott City, Kansas since 1987 moving from Holcomb, Kansas she worked for the Chaparral Inn in the housekeeping department. She was also a translator for various businesses and organizations in Scott City. Memberships include St. Joseph's Catholic Church of Scott City, Kansas. On November 30, 1963 she married Manuel Rios Jr. in Stamford, Texas. He survives. Survivors Include: Husband - Manuel Rios of Scott City, Kansas, Three Sons - Roy Rios of Topeka, Kansas, Andrew Rios of Scott City, Kansas and Alex Rios of Cheyenne, Wyoming, Three Daughters - Olivia Enriquez, Debbie Oronia and Laurie Trejo all of Scott City, Kansas, Seven Brothers - Felix Camacho of Waco, Texas, Don Camacho of Sherman, Texas, Issaac Camacho of Abilene, Texas, Raul Camacho of San Angelo, Texas, Cande Camacho of Sweetwater, Texas, Emilio Camacho Jr. of Weatherford, Texas and Joe Camacho of El Paso, Texas, Three Sisters - Mary Gonzales of Bonner Springs, Kansas, Estella Lopez and Anquilina Camacho of El Paso, Texas. Ten Grandchildre. She was preceded in death by her Parents, and One Brother. Vigil Service will be held at the St. Joseph Catholic Church in Scott City, Kansas at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 8, 2008. Funeral Mass will be held at the St. Joseph Catholic Church in Scott City, Kansas at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, April 9, 2008 with Fr. Warren Stecklein Presiding. Memorials may be given to the Virginia Rios Memorial Fund % Price & Sons Funeral Home. Visitation will be at Price & Sons Funeral Home in Scott City, Kansas from 9:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m. Tuesday.
