Harold Gene Reystead, age 74, passed away at Hays Medical Center in Hays, Kansas on Monday, March 27, 2006. He was born on December 17, 1931 in Mankato, Kansas, the son of Alfred Robert and Minnie Mae Noller Reystead. A resident of Scott County & Scott City, Kansas since 1963 moving from Meade, Kansas, he was the owner and operator of Gene's Appliance in Scott City.
Memberships include: First Christian Church Mankato, Kansas American Legion
On August 23, 1951 he married Cecelia N. Bunch in Mankato, Kansas. She survives.
Other Survivors include: Two Sons Michael Reystead Haswell, Colorado Richard Reystead Scott City, Kansas One Daughter LeAnne Hunt Scott City, Kansas One Sister Sylvia Ortman San Anselmo, CA
Five Grandchildren Five Great Grandchildren He was preceded in death by his Parents, one Brother â John Reystead, and Three Sisters â Ethel Noble, Grace Freeman, and Anna Ruth Bridges.
