Raymond J. Radnor, age 87, passed away on Thursday, September 11, 2008 at the Scott County Hospital in Scott City, Kansas. He was born on December 14, 1920 in Scott City, Kansas, the son of James Edward and Anna May Johnson Radnor. A lifetime resident of Scott City, Kansas, he was a farmer and stockman. Memberships include the St. Francis Chapel of Russell Springs, Kansas. On May 29, 1944 he married Alberta B. Matheny in Oakley, Kansas. She survives. Survivors Include his wife - Alberta Radnor of Scott City, Kansas, Two Sons - Joe Radnor of and Dwayne Radnor both of Scott City, Kansas, One Daughter - Peggy Jean Smith of Garden City, Kansas, Seven Grandsons - James B. Radnor of Scott City, Kansas, Travis Radnor of Blair, Nebraska, Michael Radnor of Kansas City, Kansas, William Radnor of Yuma, Arizona, Robert "Tux" Smith of Mayetta, Kansas, Nicholas Smith of Garden City, Kansas, Nathan Smith of Kansas City, Kansas, Two Granddaughters - Mary Claire Radnor of Manhattan, Kansas and Terrell R. Rohr of Andover, Kansas, Ten Great Grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his Parents, One Son â Richard W. "Jerry" Radnor, and One Granddaughter â Erin Radnor. Funeral Services will be held at the United Methodist Church in Scott City, Kansas at 2:00 p.m. Monday, September 15, 2008 with the Fr, Don Martin and Rev. Dennis Carter presiding. Interment will be in the Scott County Cemetery in Scott City, Kansas. Memorials may be given to the St. Francis Chapel in Russell Springs, Kansas % Price & Sons Funeral Home. Visitation will be at Price & Sons Funeral Home in Scott City from 9:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. Saturday, 1:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Sunday, and 9:00 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. Monday.
