Leoti, Kansas Lucy Matilda Perry, age 96, passed away on Wednesday, July 21, 2010 at the Wichita County Long Term Care Unit in Leoti, Kansas. Lucy was born December 17, 1913 at Albert, Kansas, the daughter of Carl Ludwick & Mary Korishell Kiefer. A resident of Sharon Springs, Kansas since 1966, she moved to Leoti in 2007. She was a farm wife and a homemaker. Lucy was a member of the First Presbyterian Church and the V.F.W. Auxiliary both in Leoti, Kansas. On August 15, 1939, Lucy married Earl S. Perry at Syracuse, Kansas. He passed away on October 27, 1995 at Sharon Springs, Kansas. Lucy's surviving family includes- Three sons- Lloyd Perry- Leoti, Kansas Dale Perry- Hasty, Colorado Dean Perry- Kit Carson, Kansas One daughter- Gwen Ramsey- Scott City, Kansas Two sisters- Leatrice Lane- Tribune, Kansas Seven Grandchildren and Twenty-Two Great Grandchildren. Her husband, Earl, One son, Carl, her parents, four brothers and three sisters preceded her in death. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m.. Saturday, July 24, 2010 at the First Presbyterian Church in Leoti, Kansas with the Reverend Paul McNall officiating. Burial will be in Leoti Cemetery at Leoti, Kansas. Friends may call from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Thursday and 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Friday at Price and Sons Funeral Home in Leoti, Kansas. Memorials may be given to the First Presbyterian Church or the Wichita County LTCU in care of the funeral home.
