It was with sorrow that we learned of Blackie's passing. He was a great neighbor. Not only did he keep a watchful eye on our home during our many absences, the home-made tamales at Christmas and the pork with chilis he brought us were a delight. I will never forget those hot Kansas summer days when over the roar of my lawnmower came a booming voice, "Shut that thing down. I've got some cold ones." I'm not sure just how many of the world's problems we solved on his front porch, but we had some great visits. We remember how proud of the grandchildren he was when he brought them over to meet us. We know he is already greatly missed. You and the entire family are in our prayers. Good Bless each and every one of you. John & Donna Linton
