Taylor Wade Oglesby, age 21, died Wednesday, March 14, 2007 at his home in Garden City, Kansas. He was born October 23, 1985 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma the son of Marcus and Tarcy Tucker Oglesby. A resident of Garden City since 2004 moving from Hugoton, Kansas he was an grain elevator operator for the Garden City CO-OP.
He was a member of St. Dominic Catholic Church of Garden City, Kansas.
On November 4, 2005 he married Natasha Marie Murphy in Garden City, Kansas. She survives.
Other survivors include: One Son, Tucker Wade Oglesby of the home; Father, Marcus Oglesby of St. James, Missouri; Mother, Tarcy Betsworth of Hugoton, Kansas; Grandparents, Joe & Kay Oglesby of Yukon, Oklahoma and Jack & Rosalie Tucker of Hugoton, Kansas.
Vigil and Rosary services will be held at 7:30pm on Tuesday, March 20, 2007 at the St. Dominic Catholic Church in Garden City.
The funeral mass will be said at 10:30am on Wednesday, March 21, 2007 at the church with Father Jospeh Bahr presiding.
Friends may call from 10:00am until 6:00pm on Tuesday at the Price & Sons Funeral Home in Garden City, Kansas.
Interment will be in the Valley View Cemetery in Garden City, Kansas.
The family requests that in lieu of flowers, memorials be given to the Tucker Oglesby Education Fund in care of Price & Sons Funeral Home of Garden City.
