SCOTT CITY, KANSAS Charles Robert Noble, age 72, died Wednesday, July 5, 2006 at the Scott County Hospital in Scott City, Kansas. He was born October 28, 1933 in Mankato, Kansas the son of Harlen E. and Ethel F. Reystead Noble. A resident of Scott City since 1972 moving from Mankato, Kansas, he was a retired state employee and farmer. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge #87 of Mankato, Kansas, the Scott County Shrine Club and was a lifetime member of the ISIS Shrine Temple of Salina, Kansas. He was a Veteran of the Korean Conflict serving as a Navy Seal aboard the USS Higbee. Survivors Include: 1 Son, Harlen Noble of Colorado Springs, Colorado: 2 Daughters, Debbie Tegethoff of Washington, Kansas and Tammy Reed of Scott City, Kansas: Special Friend: Betty Hodges of Scott City, Kansas: 6 Grandchildren and 5 Great-Grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents. Memorial services will be held at 11:00am on Saturday, July 8, 2006 @ the First Christian Church in Scott City with Pastor Troy Schroeder presiding. There will be no calling times. The family requests memorials be given to the Shriners Crippled Childrens Hospital in care of Price & Sons Funeral Home of Scott City, Kansas.
