Obituary of Rhoda Naab

Rhoda F. Naab, age 74, died Wednesday, January 10, 2007 at her home in Garden City, Kansas. She was born on February 19, 1932 in Copeland, KS the daughter of Benjamin & Gertrude Counterman Frank. A resident of Garden City since 1951, she had worked in several local restaurants prior to owning & operating Naab Liquor Store from 1981-2006. On May 31, 1951, she married John V. Naab At Van Buren, Ark. He died January 22, 2003 in Garden City, KS. Survivors Include: Two Daughters, Vicky McInnis and Sherry Espinosa, both of Garden City, Kansas, Five Sons, Marvin Naab of Charleston, Kansas, John L. Naab of Canon City, Colorado, Jerry Naab and J. D. Naab, both of Garden City, Kansas and Frankie Naab of Oklahoma, Two Brothers, Carl Frank of Fort Morgan, Colorado and Albert Frank of Farmington, New Mexico, Five Sisters, Helen Klaus, Lucille Foreman and Erma Jones, all of Garden City, Kansas, Evelyn Philbrick of Houston, Texas and Glenna Patterson of Cleveland, Oklahoma, 19 Grandchildren & 5 Great-Grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, David Naab, a daughter, Rhonda Lillienthal, a Grand-Daughter, Mellisa Eiland, and 3 sisters, Annabelle Workman, Elsie Herman & Lillian Ratzlaff. Memorial Services will be held at the Price & Sons Funeral Home in Garden City, Kansas @ 2:00pm on Sunday, January 14, 2007 with the Rev. Robert Nuckolls presiding. There will be no calling times. Inurnment will take place at a later date. The family requests, in lieu of flowers, memorials be given to the Rhoda Naab Memorial Fund in care of Price & Sons Funeral Home of Garden City.
