Evan- I remember your Dad teasing you when you needed a haircut when you were young. He always said he had a flowbee and could do it for you. You would smile and laugh at him. That made me laugh everytime. Thinking of you.

Bob became a good friend through my brother and sister. He would always come by for church when in Wichita and then we would have lunch. He would occasionally call and we would have a long conversation about politics and theology or the farm at Amy. Mary and I will miss him. Rev. Phil Shull

To Bob's immediate family, Cousin Bob and I grew up together, our ages were only four months apart. We spent summers on the farm, hunted pheasants in the fall, graduated from the same university, served our country, married with children and dreamed the same dreams. We argued politics from two widely separated positions. Cousin Bob leaves a large, empty hole in my life. I salute you. Godspeed Colonel Ronald R. Brown USAF(ret) Ronald

I first met Robert as he followed Morgan to debate tournaments. I coached at Hoisington, and we struck up a friendship that lasted for the last 15 years or so. I found him to be so well educated and one of the best examples of life-learners I have ever met. Each time I traveled to Scott City, I looked forward to seeing him, and we talked of his photographs of mirages, handwriting analysis, his kids, etc. He was always sending me interesting articles, or ideas to consider. I became a better debate coach and person for having known Robert, and will miss him very much. May God Bless you all! Randy

Bob and I were close friends at Washburn in 62-63 and I regret not having seen him since. Miraculously, he located me about 3 years ago and we stayed in close contact thereafter. He was such a wonderful, bright guy; and I will miss him greatly. Steve Wallace

Dear Evan and other family and friends of Robert Mulch: Please accept my most heartfelt condolences. Bob was a truly exceptional man. He was genuinely interesting, inquisitive, kind, engaging and considerate. He cared about people, enough to want to stay in touch. He was a great listener. What a gift in this world of generally temporary and transient acquaintances. I have fond memories as a child of visiting Bob. I remember my mom refusing to let him hypnotize me! That was OK because the yarns he shared with us kids were just as mesmerizing. I remember visiting him in Kansas and his passion for small towns, for family and for the common man. Evan, you and your siblings were the apple of his eye. Not a single phone call, Christmas letter or visit went by without Bob gushing about his beloved family. You may not have heard of me but I know about every move, marriage, part time job and entrepreneurial exploit his children ever embarked upon. He loved you guys. At times like this itâs hard to know what to say. There is one thing of which I am certain and I pray that it will be of some consolation at this time, and that is that this separation is but a temporary one. Like you the thought of Bob dancing with his beloved Glenda makes me smile. Thank you for sharing your Dad with our family all of these years. Dear Morgan and Evan, So very sorry of your loss of your dad. Bob was a special friend of mine and as you know I have known him for 47 years. He was loyal and fun to be around. He would forever lead you down a path to see what your reaction might be to what he was saying. If you didn't want to go there, much like his tractor in the field, he would just turn around with a smile and go the other way. He and your mom raised two wonderful boys and as I told your dad just a few weeks ago I will be there for you. God bless you both. Love, Larry, Carol and Chad

Bob was a "long distance" friend as we originally met through his wife and my former high school classmate, Glenda. Over the years Bob and I continued our relationship, corresponding through email and by phone. I just talked with him about 3 weeks ago and he informed me of his condition. I'll miss Bob's dry wit and humor and knowing that he was a friend that would be there for you. My condolences to his children and family. He will be greatly missed...God bless!

Evan and Mogan, Your Dad was a man of God. He lived his life trying to make this world a better place for all. You are and should be proud he was your father. He will be missed, but the memories of him will be with us forever. I imagine he is having the best conversations with Jesus this day and I do suppose he is conceding to his point of view! Prayer for you during this difficult time.

We will never forget Bob. We both think he was one of the most unforgettable souls we have ever had the privilege to know. He was our best man at our wedding and he was our best friend. We loved to visit with him every time we were back in Scott City. He always thought outside the box, and he encouraged everyone he knew to do the same. We know we will see him again and we know he is okay, reunited with Glenda. May the Lord bless and comfort his family.
