Scott City Mary Monica Muench, age 87, passed away at the Park Lane Nursing Home in Scott City, Kansas on Sunday, October 2, 2005. She was born on October 27, 1917 in Wright, Kansas, the daughter of Roger and Minnie Wortman Norris. A resident of Scott City, Kansas since 1942 moving from Council Grove, Kansas, she was the owner and operator of Muench's Drapery and she was a homemaker. Memberships include: St. Joseph Catholic Church Scott City, Kansas Alter Society Scott City, Kansas EHU Scott City, Kansas VFW Ladies Auxiliary Scott City, Kansas Scott County Hospital Pink Ladies Scott City, Kansas On November 22, 1936 she married John J. Muench in Dodge City, Kansas.
