To the family i give my condolences. Keith was my roommate at the 101st and a very good friend. The news of Keith passing has hit me hard and I still think of Keith often. He was the best roommate and friend you could find. I served with many great men but Keith stands out as one of the best. The true measure of a combat solider is not how tough he is or how many push ups he could do in 2 minutes. That is a test of grit and muscle. The true measurement is their character. And Keith had most of us beat. I miss Keith very much and always will. He will live on through my stories with family and friends as the outstanding soldier he was and even more , what a good friend he was.
Till we meet again at fiddlers green ,
Your friend forever
Joe Kurtenbach
