Margaret Marie " Maggie" Moser, age 74, passed away on Wednesday, May 20, 2009 at Greeley County Hospital in Tribune, Kansas. Maggie was born August 27, 1934 at Syracuse, Kansas, the daughter of Charles L. & Lila B. Shaw Curtis. She had been a Tribune resident since 1959 and was, along with her husband, owner and operator of Bob's Body & Repair for 36 years before their retirement in 1998 . Maggie's memberships include- United Methodist Church- Tribune, Kansas Lifetime member of V.F.W. auxiliary #7521- " Order of the Eastern Star- Garden City, Kansas She was a lifetime member of the Tribune Women's Bowling Assn. and The United States Bowling Congress, She was a mother advisor for Rainbow Girls, Den mother for Greeley County Cub Scouts and Boy Scouts, a leader for both Brownie Scouts and Girl Scouts as well a Democratic Precinct Committee Chairwoman. On October 25, 1953 she married Robert Moser, Sr. at Tribune, Kansas. He survives. Maggie's other surviving family members include- Two sons- Dr. Robert Moser, Jr. and his wife Dalene- Tribune, Kansas Charles Moser- " Three daughters and their husbands- Brenda & Bob Gonzales- Manhattan, Kansas Wanda & Stan Stewart- El Dorado, Kansas Dondi & Larry Doty- Tribune, Kansas One brother- Terry Curtis- Aurora, Colorado Two sisters- Lorraine Graber- Garden City, Kansas Sandy Peterson- Stone Mountain, Georgia Ten Grandchildren and Three Great Grandchildren She was preceded in death by her parents, a grandchild, Scott Stewart, two brothers, Charles Curtis, Jr. & Robert Curtis and one sister, Charlene Wendt. Funeral Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. ( M.D.T.) Tuesday, May 26, 2009 at the United Methodist Church in Tribune, Kansas with the Reverends Les Ellis and Sabra Dyas officiating. Burial will be in Greeley County Cemetery in Tribune, Kansas. Friends may call from 1:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Saturday, Sunday and Monday at Price & Sons Funeral Home in Tribune, Kansas. Memorials may be given to The Greeley County Cancer Victory Walk or the Greeley County Hospital in care of the funeral home.
