Martha Elizabeth Morris, age 91, died Saturday, February 17, 2007 at the Colorado Lutheran Home in Arvada, Colorado. She was born June 29, 1915 in Garden City, Kansas the daughter of Erastus Oliver & Lelia Stout Wampler. Prior to moving to in Arvada in 2004, she had been a lifetime resident of Garden City and was a homemaker.
She was a member of the First United Methodist Church and the United Methodist Women. She was a past member of the Kleysteuber-Olomon Circle and had belonged to several bridge clubs, all in Garden City.
On June 20, 1942, she married Wilbur L. Morris in Paso Robles, California. He died December 11, 1999 at Garden City, KS.
Survivors include: One Daughter Jan (Terry) Cahill of Arvada, Colorado 1 Grandson Greg (Heather) Mills of Thornton, Colorado 1 Great-Grandson Devan Mills of Thornton, Colorado 1 Sister Dorothy Wampler of Garden City, Kansas
She was preceded in death by two brothers, John & Clinton Wampler, and one sister, Louise Wampler.
Funeral Services will be held at 10:00am on Wednesday, February 21, 2007 at the Price & Sons Funeral Home in Garden City with the Reverend David Bell presiding.
Interment will be in the Valley View Cemetery in Garden City.
Friends may call from 1:00-8:00pm on Tuesday at the Price & Sons Funeral Home in Garden City.
The family requests Memorials be given to the Martha Morris Memorial Fund in care of Price & Sons Funeral Home.
