Obituary of Pauline Becker

Pauline Becker, age 96, died Thursday, February 1, 2007 at the Garden Valley Retirement Village in Garden City, Kansas. She was born March 12, 1910 in Grant County, North Dakota the daughter of Gottlieb and Amelia Rivinius Link. A resident of Garden City since 1972, moving from Bismarck, North Dakota, she was a homemaker. She attended the First United Methodist Church of Garden City and enjoyed gardening, sewing and spending time with her grandchildren. On November 22, 1932 she married Earl Ezra Becker in Elgin, North Dakota. He died November 20, 1949 in Elgin, North Dakota. Survivors include: Seven Sons, Melvin Becker of Bismarck, North Dakota, Delbert, Larry, Ervin, Marvin , John Alan and Albert Kent Becker, all of Garden City, Kansas, Four Daughters , Evelyn Stelter of New Leipzig, North Dakota, Darlene Asmussen of Tifton, Georgia, Eldene Ann Allison of Enigma, Georgia and Rosemary J. Mehrer of Garden City, Kansas, 37 Grandchildren, 63 Great-Grandchildren and 2 Great-Great-Grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, Bobby Dean Becker, 6 Brothers & 4 Sisters. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00am on Monday, February 5, 2007 at the First United Methodist Church in Garden City with the Rev. David Bell presiding. Interment will be in the Prairie View Cemetery in Heil, North Dakota at 10:00am on Wednesday, Feb. 7, 2007. Friends may call from 1:00pm-8:00pm on Saturday and Sunday at the Price & Sons Funeral Home in Garden City. The family requests Memorials be given to the Pauline Becker Memorial Fund in care of Price & Sons Funeral Home of Garden City.
