Obituary of Jose Moreno

Garden City, Kansas Jose "Louie" Moreno, age 51, died Tuesday, November 13, 2007 at the Via Christi St. Francis Campus in Wichita, Kansas. He was born on October 27, 1956 in Morton, Texas the son of Juan Pablo and Elva Garza Moreno. He graduated from Garden City High School in 1975 and then attended Garden City Community College. A resident of Garden City since 1999 moving from Wichita, Kansas he had previously worked as a backhoe operator for the Santa Fe Railroad. He was an avid Kansas City Chiefs and Kansas University Jayhawks fan. Survivors Include: Three Sons, Justin Lee Moreno of Las Vegas, Nevada, Blaine Anthony Moreno of New York City, New York and Alex Simon Moreno of Great Bend, Kansas; Two Daughters, Adrianna Trevino of Georgia and Morgan Quinn Moreno of Missouri; His Parents, Juan Pablo and Elva Moreno of Garden City, Kansas; Six Brothers, Juan Jose Moreno of Garden City, Kansas, Jose Guadalupe Moreno of Fort Morgan, Colorado, Jesus Garza Moreno of Augusta, Kansas, Juan Pablo Moreno Jr. of Wichita, Kansas, Marco Antonio Moreno of Leoti, Kansas and Aaron Garza Moreno of Garden City, Kansas; One Sister, Norma Icela Plummer of Bartlesville, Oklahoma and Two Grandsons. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, November 19, 2007at the Price & Sons Funeral Home in Garden City, Kansas with Pastor Neil Burum presiding. Interment will be held in the Valley View Cemetery in Garden City, Kansas. Friends may call from 1:00-8:00pm on Sunday, Nov. 18, 2007 at the Price & Sons Funeral Home in Garden City, KS. The family requests memorial be given to the Louie Moreno Memorial Fund in care of Price & Sons Funeral Home of Garden City.
