We're sure Pat's name is right there in the dictionary included in the definition of the word "Cake". She was always a very gracious and truly, genuine lady. She leaves a remarkable legacy for her family and friends.
So very sorry to hear of your family's loss. Pat was a very special lady to us. We have so many fond memories of her. And of course you know her name comes up whenever anyone in our family has a birthday. We try to make her famous "Pat Miller Cake", but sadly it is never as good as the original. Sonny and Dedra, and Watson, it was good to see you this past Monday when I came to see Pat. Also Richard and Becky, was glad to talk to you at church on Sunday. Pat was a great lady. I remember her coming to stay with me for an afternoon when I came down with the measles when I was 11 and my mother was in Rocky Ford. Pat gave me a treat of lemonade. Pat made my wedding cake in 1960, maybe soon after she started her career as "The Cake Lady." She made our lives brighter. A cousin, MaryRuth

May the Lord give you peace and comfort in knowing the "strife is over" and that Pat is completely healed and being reunited with the loved ones who have gone on before. We are thinking about all of you during this difficult time. I have many special memories of Pat from the wonderful cakes she made, butchering chickens at the farm, and playing the xylophone at all of the Pleasant Valley Christmas programs. Pat Miller's wedding cake will always be talked about. It is so delicious and when you go out of town and eat wedding cake, you always know it was not Pat's. She fought a long strong battle and may the angels surround her now. Keeping all of her family in our thoughts and prayers.
