Jean Shirley Meeker, Age 86, died Thursday, September 8, 2005 @ St. Catherine Hospital, Garden City, KS. She was born October 4, 1918 at Garden City, the daughter of LeRoy L. & Mildred E. Walsh Cooper. Raised in Garden City, she moved to Dighton, Kansas in 1950, and returned to Garden City in 1990. She was a homemaker & farm wife. She was a member of the United Methodist Church of Dighton, Kansas.
On December 8, 1940 she married Leo L. Meeker at Garden City, KS. He survives.
Other survivors include: 2 Daughters Brenda J. Janik Henderson, Nevada Ronda G. Bolding Garden City, Kansas 1 Granddaughter Brooke L. Bolding Garden City, Kansas 1 Grandson Simon R. Bolding Garden City, Kansas She was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Ardis Jane Meeker, 1 Brother & 3 Sisters.
Funeral Services: 2:00PM, Saturday, September 10, 2005 Price & Sons Funeral Home in Garden City, Kansas
