It was an honor to have met you and shared in your company. A sad day for us, as yet another of the "Greatest Generation" completes their service on this Earth. May God be with you.
I always enjoyed John's visits to his daughter Jane's home. We celebrated many a birthday with he and his family. I always made sure that there was an Italian dinner in the making when he came. \i will miss him very much.
I am sorry about John's passing, but celebrate the long life he cherished. I knew him when his daughter Jane brought him to Washington, DC and into the office. I always admired his humor and spunk. Jane's love for him showed in so many ways. May he rest in peace.
Jane: As the pain of your loss subsides, remember what you shared and not what you lost. I lost my mother in March 2006. The pain has subsided, but fond memories remain. She lives on in my heart. I pray that you and your family will find the serenity to accept what has happened and the courage to let go and let God.
Jane S. and Family, I am sending you my deepest sympathy. I will be praying for you all and may you find much peace at a time like this for joy comes in the morning, and your Dad will be home with the Lord looking down on us from his Heavenly Mansion. Peace Be With You Denise Shelton (OGE)
