Bruce was always so cheerful and I so enjoyed the stories of his experiences that he shared. My most remembered stories were about the birth of his children and what it was like to share that experience with the love of his life. He also shared some "war" stories with me as my Dad was in World War II as well. He will be missed by many.

So sorry about Bruce. He was a neat guy. He would always greet me with a big smile and would say something to make me smile too. We know that now he isn't fighting for each breath but it is still hard to let him go. I'll be praying for you all, hold on to the memories. Mine include playing on "Bruce's" softball team when I was in high school. That was so important back then.

Pat, Bill, Cathy, Lisa, Gil and families: Bruce will forever stand out in my mind as an Icon on Main Street Scott City. He was such a gentle, caring and happy man that you could talk to all day and never run out of things to say. He will be missed by so many. Just remember all of the good times and the wonderful life experiences that he taught all of you. Not everyone has such a leader to guide them in the right direction. Bruce loved his family with all of his heart and was always so eager to talk about all of the Grandkids and how proud of each of them he was. Let God wrap his loving arms around each and everyone of you throughout this difficult time. Our thoughts and prayers will be with each of you now and in the months to come.

Bruce was a Great husband, father, and grandfather. I always felt that he showed honesty and integrity while operating his retail business in Scott City. I will remember him as an uplifting and positive person. And he had a great golf swing. Our hearts go out to Mrs. Lewis, Bill, Cathy, Lisa, and Gil, and their families. He was a fine man and our Heavenly Father now has him in His care. With Love and Prayers, Ty and Peggy Bloom
