Katherine A. Lawrence, age 60, passed away on Thursday, October 26, 2006 at Via Christi Regional Medical Center â St. Francis Campus in Wichita, Kansas. She was born on September 23, 1946 in Garden City, Kansas, the daughter of Henry Charles and Mary Eleanor Jones Kirk. A resident of Scott City, Kansas since 1973, she graduated from Scott Community High School in 1964 and received her B.S. in Education from Kansas State University. She was an elementary school teacher and was the manager at Kirk Grain in Scott City, Kansas. He survives.
