Obituary of Patrick Keeny

Patrick Lee Keeny, age 57, passed away on Friday, January 11, 2008 at his home in Garden City, Kansas. He was born December 13, 1950 at Coffeyville, Kansas, the son of E. Marvin Jr. and Clara Elaine Webb Keeny. A Garden City resident since 1970, having moved from Sedan, Kansas, he was a pumper for Cimarex Energy Company.
He was a member of the Cornerstone Church and a former member of the American Bowling Congress, both of Garden City. He enjoyed woodworking, gardening & was an avid frog collector.
On September 15, 1992 he married Sue Sloan at Las Vegas, Neveda. She survives.
Other survivors include: His mother, Elaine Keeny of Sedan, Kansas, A step-son, Darrin Crist of Garden City, Kansas, A step-daughter, Sara Jones of El Paso, Texas, A brother, Chris Keeny, and An uncle, Ken Webb of Sedan, Kansas 9 grandchildren, 4 nephews and 3 great-nephews.
He was preceeded in death by his father, and a sister, Marcy Ann Berryman.
Funeral Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, January 15, 2008 at the Cornerstone Church in Garden City, Kansas with Pastor Neil Burum officiating.
Interment will be in the Sunset Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Garden City, Kansas.
Friends may call from 10am to 8pm Monday at Price & Sons Funeral Home in Garden City, Kansas.
Memorials may be given to South Wind Oncology or St. Catherine Hospice, both in care of the funeral home.
