Walter F. "Sonny" Jones, age 86, passed away on Friday, April 20, 2007 at the Scott County Hospital in Scott City, Kansas. He was born on April 29, 1920 in Hutchinson, Kansas, the son of Walter F. and Lucile Wood Jones. A resident of Scott City, Kansas since 1947 moving from Hutchinson, Kansas. A graduate of Kansas University, he was a World War II Army Veteran and a farmer.
Memberships Include: Masonic Lodge #284 Scott City, Kansas Scott City Shrine Club Scott City, Kansas KU Alumni Association Scott County Investment Club Scott City, Kansas Phi Kappa Psi Lawrence, Kansas Past School Board Member Scott City, Kansas
On September 20, 1947 he married Harriet Bossemeyer in Hutchinson, Kansas. She survives.

He was preceded in death by his Parents, and One Son â Mike Jones.
