Scott City Jessie Lee Ivey, age 74, passed away at the Park Lane Nursing Home in Scott City, Kansas on Friday, November 11, 2005. She was born on September 29, 1931 in Claremore, Oklahoma, the daughter of Walter Henry and Josephine Jones Bell. She moved to Scott City in 1934P with her Step Father and Mother, William and Josephine White. She was a homemaker and was a cook at the Chaparral Inn restaurant in Scott City. Memberships include: First Baptist Church Scott City, Kansas On March 7, 1948 she married Roy Ivey in Scott City, Kansas. He passed away on August 4, 2000 in Scott City, Kansas. Survivors Include: Four Sons Roy Richard Ivey Pembrook, Kentucky William Preston Ivey Wichita, Kansas Jackie Dwayne Ivey Scott City, Kansas Anthony Edward Ivey Scott City, Kansas Four Daughters Betty Lee Bailey Scott City, Kansas Peggy Joyce Cooper Ponca City, Oklahoma Bonnie Sue Stewart Scott City, Kansas Ruby Ann Latham Scott City, Kansas Three Brothers William White Ness City, Kansas James White Phoenix, Arizona John White Phoenix, Arizona One Sister Mary Jo Duquette Hobbs, New Mexico One Aunt Minnie Wells Omaha, Arkansas Thirty Nine Grandchildren Twenty Nine Great Grandchildren She was preceded in death by her Parents, Husband, One Daughter â Jacqueline Ivey, Two Brothers â George White and Jonnie Cross, Four Sisters â Mary Gropp, Elsie M. Bell, Norma J. Bell, and Francis L. Bell-Graham, One Granddaughter â Amber N. Nolan and One Great Grandson â Brandon L. McClain-McEachern.
