Marian L. Huffman, age 99, passed away at the Scott County Hospital in Scott City, Kansas on Saturday, April 15, 2006. She was born on February 1, 1907 in Dodgerville, Wisconsin, the daughter of Frederick and Nettie Skillicorn Jewell. A resident of Scott City, Kansas since 1951 moving from Burdett, Kansas, she was a Home Economic's Teacher at Scott City High School. Memberships included: United Methodist Church Scott City, Kansas UMW Scott City, Kansas Women's Federated Club Scott City, Kansas AAUW Order of Eastern Star Sunflower Retired Teachers Garden City, Kansas Kansas Association of Retired Teachers On August 27, 1938 she married Clyde Huffman in Peabody, Kansas. He passed away on December 27, 1986 in Garden City, Kansas.
