Charles "Gene" Huff, age 63, died Saturday, April 7, 2007 at his home in Garden City, Kansas. He was born November 20, 1943 in Garden City, Kansas the son of Charlie and Gladys George Huff. He had been a lifetime resident of Garden City but his work had taken him to California and to Saudi Arabia for a couple of years each. He was a truck driver, did concrete work and was into wood working.
He was baptised into the Fellowship Baptist Church of Graden City, Kansas.
On September 2, 1988 he married Dorothy M. Barker @ LaVeta, Colorado. She survives.
Other Survivors Include: One Daughter, Rhonda Worlie of Miles City, Montana, One Brother, Royse Huff of Fairfield, Iowa, Three Step-Sons, Brad Sammelman of Jamestown, North Dakota, Christopher Sheldon of Jamestown, North Dakota, Shawn Sheldon of Garden City, Kansas and Seven Step-Grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Joyce Robinson.
Graveside Services will be held at 11:00am on Wednesday, April 11, 2007 at the Valley View Cemetery in Garden City, Kansas.
There will be no public calling times.
Memorials may be given to the Gene Huff Memorial Fund in care of Price & Sons Funeral Home of Garden City.
