Dee was one of the most gracious women I've ever known. She had the unique ability to just weave us right into the comfortable fabric of her life. We can continue Dee's legacy by creating our own tapestries of life: genuinely caring for others and being a friend to all

My prayers go out to the family and friends for their loss. Losing a loved one can be very difficult, but please know that you can throw your burdens upon Jehovah God and He will sustain you (Psalms 55:22).

We are very sorry to hear of Dee's passing. We did know she had been having trouble though and the good lord chose to take her to his heavenly home. She is one wonderful lady and I always enjoyed talking to her and seeing her. She touched many hearts in our town. God Bless each of you. Prayers are with you.

I was so sorry to hear about Dee. I have so many fond, cousin memories of her when I was young and also when I would return to Scott City to see my family. My last memory was at a volleyball game where she was cheering for a grandaughter.... one of her favorite activities. We had a good visit. Please know that my thoughts are with all of you. Judy

Stacy, Kelly, Tonni and families: Your mother was one of the most beautiful people that I knew from the inside out! She was always so happy and friendly. She loved and talked of each one of you all of the time, she was so proud of you all. My fondest memories are of her playing in the bridge tournament and especially this year. She was in the hospital, but the day she got out, we played and she never let on that she was not feeling good. Still playing the skilled bridge that she always did. She was a person that thought of others before herself, like the year she played with her partner so she wouldn't hurt her feelings and knew that they would not stand a chance of winning. They were friends and she didn't want to let her down even if her partner could not remember what was going on. What a testament to her character! She will be missed by so many, but we all have such great and fond memories of her! Our thoughts and prayers are with you all during this time of sorrow and in the months to come.
