Pam and Thomas, There is nothing we can say that can comfort you at this time. But, Jesus said it for all of us. In John 11:25-26, Jesus said, "I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in me will live, even though he dies; and whoever lives and believes in me will never die." In John 14, Jesus said, "Do not let your hearts be troubled. Trust in God; trust also in me. In my Father's house are many rooms; if it were not so, I would have told you. I am going there to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am." The sadness that we feel is that we don't have more memories of both of you and Aunt Mildred in our adult years. We live so far apart and there are new family members that we've never seen.
