Scott City James W. Aytes, age 75, passed away on Saturday, September 8, 2007 at his home in Scott City, Kansas. He was born August 14, 1932 in Owensville, Missouri, the son of Oscar W. and Zelma Mary Richardson Aytes. A resident of Scott City, Kansas since 1951 moving from Owensville, Missouri, he worked at the Refinery in Scott County and as a well driller for Weiser Well Drilling. Memberships include: First Baptist Church Scott City, Kansas Masonic Lodge #284 Scott City, Kansas On December 30, 1949 he married Nathalie D. Wagner in Salem, Arkansas. She survives. Survivors: Three Sons Dr. James M. and Lindsey Aytes Leavenworth, KS Scot Aytes Scott City, KS Greg & Anne Aytes Linwood, Kansas One Daughter Pamela & Rodney Wheeler Scott City, KS Two Sisters RaeJean Hart St. James, MO Bonnie & Augie Hengstenberg Owensville, MO Father In Law Waldo Ehlers Union, MO Seven Grandchildren Four Great Grandchildren He was preceded in death by his Parents, One Brother â Oscar W. Aytes Jr., One Brother In Law â Nelson Hart, and One Granddaughter â Jessica Aytes.
