Detta Lou Heitschmidt, age 77, passed away on Monday, August 6, 2007 at the Park Lane Nursing Home in Scott City, Kansas. She was born on February 24, 1930 in Scott City, Kansas, the daughter of Ross H. and Mable L. French Carson. She was a lifetime resident of Scott City, Kansas and was a homemaker and a farmers wife. Memberships Include: First Baptist Church Scott City, Kansas American Baptist Women Scott City, Kansas Mary & Martha Circle Scott City, Kansas On November 18, 1951 she married Vernard D. Heitschmidt in Scott County, Kansas. He passed away on July 7, 1997 in Scott City, Kansas. Other Survivors include: One Son Dean C. Heitschmidt Miller, Missouri One Daughter Diane K. & Dennis Glenn Fayetteville, Georgia Two Grandsons Jay & Cody Glenn Loganville, Georgia Joshua Heitschmidt Garden City, Kansas Three Granddaughters Kristi Glenn Auburn, Alabama Alesha Heitschmidt Manhattan, Kansas Chelsea & Marc King Manhattan, Kansas One Great Grandson Morgen Roberts Denver, Colorado She was preceded in death by her Parents, Husband, and One Grandson â David Glenn.
