Obituary of Marcus Guerrero

Garden City, Kansas Marcus John Alexander Guerrero, age 17, died Sunday, September 30, 2007 in Garden City, Kansas from injuries sustained in a vehicle accident. He was born May 16, 1990 in Garden City, Kansas the son of Chris Lucero and Kimberly Guerrero. For most of his life he had lived in Garden City living briefly in El Campo, Texas and most recently in Ellis, Kansas. He was a High School student and enjoyed oil painting and golfing. He attended the Primera Iglesia Bautista Hispana Church in Garden City. Survivors include: Mother, Kimberly Guerrero of El Campo, Texas; Father & Step-Mother, Chris & Martha Lucero of the home; Foster Parents, Monty & Janeen Cox of Ellis, Kansas; Brothers, George Sanchez Jr. of Houston, Texas, Lawrence Sanchez of El Campo, Texas, Johnny Clayton of the home,Robbie Sanchez of El Campo, Texas, Louis Olvera of El Campo, Texas, Jordon Lucero of the home; Sisters, Jonica Clayton of the home, Jasmine Lucero of the home, Elizabeth Olvera of El Campo, Texas; Grandfathers, John Guerrero of Garden City, Kansas Gilbert Lucero of El Paso, Texas; Grandmother, Teresa Garcia of Liberal, Kansas; Great-Grandfather, Leo Martinez of Dodge City, Kansas; Great-Grandmother, Pauline Lucero of Greeley, Colorado; Several Aunts, Uncles and cousins. Funeral Services will be held at 10:30am on Thursday, October 4, 2007 at the Word Of Life Church in Garden City, Kansas with Rev. Norman Harmon presiding. Interment will be in the Valley View Cemetery in Garden City, Kansas.
