Sharon K. Fuller, age 67, passed away on Thursday, May 8, 2008 at her home in Scott City, Kansas. She was born on November 11, 1939 in Scott County, Kansas, the daughter of Wade Hampton and Letha Adalene Philips Burgess. Sharon grew up in Scott County and attended school in Scott City and then Dodge City Community College. She was active in KWHA with family, worked at the Wichita County Hospital, Scott County Hospital and for a time traveled with her husband and training and running horses at several race tracks in Colorado. One of Sharon's most treasured times was camping with family and friends.
Memberships include the First Baptist Church of Scott City, Kansas. On December 17, 1961 she married Del Ray Fuller in Scott City, Kansas. He survives.
Survivors Include: Husband - Del Ray Fuller of Scott City, Kansas, One Son - Jeff & Vicky Fuller of Scott City, Kansas, One Daughter - Jan & Howard Green of Scott City, Kansas, One Foster Son - Devlin Hunt of Scott City, Kansas, Three Brothers - Keith & Jean Burgess of Scott City, Kansas, Max Burgess of Scott City, Kansas, John & Bobby Burgess of Scott City, Kansas, One Sister - Mone & Dean Jefferies of Leoti, Kansas, Three Grandsons - Cassidy Fuller, Wyatt Green, and Chance Fuller, Three Granddaughters - Brandy & Myron Green Vaughn, Lori & Eric Vasquez, and Teokka & Chase Morford, One Great Grandson Baylor Vasquez, Two Great Granddaughters - Shayleigh Dawn Morford and Charmane Dakota Morford.
She was preceded in death by her Parents, and One Half Sister.
Funeral Services will be held at the First Baptist Church in Scott City, Kansas at 2:00 p.m. Monday, May 12, 2008 with the Rev. Kyle Evans & Dawaine Lampe presiding.
Inurnment will be in the Scott County Cemetery Scott City, Kansas
Memorials may be given to the Scott County EMS, Victory In The Valley or the American Lung Association % Price & Sons Funeral Home.
Visitation will be at Price & Sons Funeral Home in Scott City, Kansas from 2:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Saturday, 1:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Sunday and 9:00 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. Monday.
