Wilma R. Finkenbinder, age 90, passed away on Friday, January 22, 2010 at the Scott County Hospital in Scott City, Kansas. She was born on March 18, 1919 in Cherokee, Kansas, the daughter of Henry Clarence and Edith Pearl Vance Misner. A resident of Scott City, Kansas since 1946 moving from Lane County, Kansas, she was the owner and operator of Twilight Trailer Park in Scott City, Kansas.
Memberships include the First Christian Church of Scott City, Kansas and CWF of Scott City, Kansas.
On July 6, 1937 she married Delmar Eugene Finkenbinder in Garden City, Kansas. He passed away on October 23, 1964 in Scott City, Kansas.
Survivors Include her One Daughter - Vicki Cheryl & Marvin Wright of Scott City, Kansas, Three Sons - Rex & Joni Finkenbinder of Hutchinson, Kansas, Larry Gene Finkenbinder of Colorado Springs, Colorado, Mike & Diane Finkenbinder of Scott City, Kansas, One Sister - Verna Flower of Rodgers, Arkansas, Fifteen Grandchildren, Twenty Four Great Grandchildren and Twelve Great Great Grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her Parents, Husband, Two Brothers â Earl Misner and Dwight Misner and One Sister â Edith Sager.
Funeral Services will be held at the First Christian Church in Scott City, Kansas at 2:00 p.m. Monday, January 25, 2010 with the Rev. Jeff Knighton presiding.
Interment will be in the Scott County Cemetery in Scott City, Kansas.
Memorials can be given to the Wilma R. Finkenbinder Memorial Fund c/o Price & Sons Funeral Home.
Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. Saturday, 1:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Sunday, and 9:00 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. Monday.
