Obituary of Albert Tubbs
Albert D. Tubbs, age 60, passed away on Wednesday, April 16, 2003, at the Scott County Hospital in Scott City, Kansas. He was born on May 24, 1942, in Levant, Kansas, the son of Albert Wayne and Irene the son of Albert Wayne and Irene Stickel Tubbs. He was a resident of Scott City, Kansas since March of 1969 moving from Burlington, Colorado. He was a Custom harvester and mechanic.
He was a member of the Community Christian Church in Scott City, Kansas.
On September 21, 1963, he married Sherrill R. O’Neal in Flagler, Colorado. She survives.
Survivors include his Wife - Sherrill Tubbs of Scott City, Kansas, Three Daughters - Lynnette & Chris Robinson of Scott City, Kansas, Kandi & Craigg Goodman of Scott City, Kansas, Michelle & Darrin Habiger of Scott City, Kansas, and One Sister - Ethel & Kenneth McCaffrey of Seibert, Colorado, One Sister-In-Law - Virginia Tubbs of Colorado Springs, Colorado, Numerous Nieces & Nephews and Ten Grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at the Community Christian Church in Scott City, Kansas on Saturday, April 19, 2003, at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Kerry Hookstra presiding.
Interment will be in the Scott County Cemetery in Scott City, Kansas.
Memorials can be made to the Albert D. Tubbs Memorial Fund in care of Price & Sons Funeral Home in Scott City, Kansas.
Visitation will be from 9:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. Friday and 9:00 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Price & Sons Funeral Home in Scott City, Kansas.
