Obituary of Esperanza Maria Rosas
Esperanza Maria “Hope” Rosas, age 48, passed away on Friday, June 17, 2022, at the Penrose Hospital in Colorado Springs, Colorado. She was born on May 18, 1974, in Garden City, Kansas, the daughter of Alfredo and Gloria M. Ortega Rosas. A lifetime resident of Garden City, Kansas, she was a homemaker and caretaker for her family.
She was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Garden City, Kansas.
Survivors include her One Daughter - Raven Rosas of Wichita, Kansas, One Son - Kofi Afrifah-Rosas of Garden City, Kansas, Two Sisters - Marcella Rosas of Dodge City, Kansas, Silvia Rosas of Garden City, Kansas, and One Brother - Alfredo & Marisa Rosas of Garden City, Kansas, Three Nieces - Karina Solorio of Garden City, Kansas, Aliah Solorio of Wichita, Kansas, Alyah Solorio of Garden City, Kansas, Three Nephews - Thomas Solorio of Wichita, Kansas, David “Mackie” Solorio of Wichita, Kansas, and Giovanni Solorio of Garden City, Kansas.
She was preceded in death by her Parents, One Sister - Simona Rosas, and both her Maternal and Paternal Grandparents.
Vigil Services will be held at 6:00 p.m. Friday, June 24, 2022, at Price & Sons Funeral Home, 620 N. Main Street in Garden City, Kansas.
Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, June 25, 2022, at St. Mary Catholic Church in Garden City, Kansas with Fr. Jacob Schneider presiding.
Memorials In Lieu Of Flowers may be written to the Hope Rosas Memorial Fund in care of Price & Sons Funeral Home, 620 N. Main Street, Garden City, Kansas, 67846.
Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m. Friday at Price & Sons Funeral Home, 620 N. Main Street, Garden City, Kansas.
Interment will be in the Valley View Cemetery in Garden City, Kansas.
