Obituary of Sandy Binns
Martin A. “Sandy” Binns, age 81, passed away on Thursday, June 9, 2022, at the Scott County Hospital in Scott City, Kansas. He was born on March 24, 1941, in Scott City, Kansas, the son of Samuel Lee and Ines Evelyn Needles Binns. A lifetime resident of Scott City, Kansas, he works for the US Postal Service for 40 years.
He was a US Army Veteran of the Vietnam War serving in the 173rd Airborne unit. He was also a VFW and American Legion member.
On February 19, 1997, he married Kelly J. Biggerstaff in Las Vegas, Nevada. She survives.
Survivors include his Wife - Kelly J. Binns of Scott City, Kansas, Three Children - Andrew of Wichita, Kansas, Kevin & wife Cassie of Claflin, Kansas, Destiny of Hoisington, Kansas, One Brother - Clifford L. “Pete” & Emma Jean Binns of Scott City, Kansas, One Sister - Jo Ellen & Don Wimp of Oswego, Kansas, Seven Grandchildren, and many nieces & nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Two Brothers - Allen Binns, and Jim Binns, and Two Sisters - Betty and Nancy.
There will be no calling times.
