I was shocked and saddened by the news. Bill was a great attorney and good man. I will miss his infectious smile, his willingness to help his clients at all costs, and his service to the communities of SW KS.

I am so very sorry for the passing of Bill. My childhood memories on Hunter road mean so much to me. My brother Jim Passed and Bill was at his service. I can’t tell you how much that meant to me. I miss them both now and know that they are together in a much better place. My sincere condolences. I will say an extra special prayer for Bill and Jim. God is great and he’s got a couple of honory men/ boys in his kingdom to look after.

Bill was truly one of the kindest people I have ever known. I was always glad to see that he was on the other side of a case because he and Annette both, were such a pleasure to work with. He was always happy to see you and had something good or uplifting to say, every time. I never heard him say an unkind word about anyone. Very few of us can put ourselves in Bill’s category. He was truly one of the good ones. I will forever be grateful for the friendship he extended and will miss seeing him around town. My prayers to Annette and the family that God holds you close during this difficult time. Hold tight to your memories, they will help you through this.

I will miss working with Bill on CASA cases. He was a great advocate for the children of Finney County and will be sorely missed. I'm praying for Annette, his parents, children, and grandchildren as they walk through this dark valley.

Just was made aware of Bill's passing. What a shock! Bill was a consummate lawyer and a genuinely personable fellow. He truly cared about his clients, fellow lawyers, and his family and friends. I cannot remember a conversation with Bill about anything that was not a pleasant experience even when the conservation was about a hard-fought case. Garden City, Scott City, and the legal community have truly experienced a loss. I sincerely wish the very best for his family and friends in their journey to deal with his passing.

Bill has been my friend and mentor since i first came to Garden City, as a newly minted lawyer. It was Bill whom i trusted and turned to many times when i needed sound advice personally and professionally. He was a dear friend, along with Annette. My heart is broken, but God is good. I hope to see him again in the sweet bye and bye.

I have known Bill for such a short time since I started working for the District Court. I always enjoyed visiting with him and he was so pleasant. It is just hard to imagine not seeing his bright smiley face in the elevator or in the hallway or in the courtroom. My heart goes out to Annette and the family. Our thoughts and prayers are with you. He will be missed.
